Did my long outside run today - 10km exactly in an hour and 2.30mins - Im very pleased with that, getting very close to my target now of one hour for the 10km.

Today I put in 5.5km in 36mins with a 3 minute walk break - I was running at 9-10km/hour so quite a high tempo for me on the treadmill.

As I’m so bored with treadmill running I thought I’d have another long outside run today - didn’t start off great, was getting shin pain after 1km and thought about stopping and going back home but I kicked on and ran 10km in 1hour 8minutes.

Sigh - exactly the same weight as last week! Im pretty sure this is down to giving up smoking - I think my metabolism has slowed as I have been exercising daily and eating well. I’m not going to let this get me down though - time to to kick it up a notch next [...]

Was bored this evening so I put in another small run - 3.5km in 23mins. Gonna take a day off tommorow now and do some Cross trainer in preparation for a long run on saturday.
Did a 45 minute run yesterday and a little 25 minute run today - both didnt feel great though, felt very tired and out of breath while I was running. Not sure what’s up with that, going to try an afternoon run tommorow after I have eaten lunch and see if that makes a difference.
