I did another 42 lengths swimming today, one more tommorow and Im done with it! It’s so boring, I don’t know how people do this for anything more than rehab exercise.

Started swimming again yesterday to try and get some exercise - the ankle is nearly better, just some slight swelling so hopefully next week I can get back in the gym and do some exercise bike & cross trainer. Might start doing some weights again as well till I can run again.

The lack of posts indicates that yet again, I have injured myself - this time it was a sprained ankle sustained after jumping off a tree stump while slightly inebriated!

Today I did :
30 mins Cross Trainer
10 mins Exercise Bike
15 mins Running
10 mins Exercise Bike
15 mins Running
I ran a total of 4.66km today in two 15min sections - I also upped the running machine to 9km / hour.
Still getting Sciatica pain coming on, but its taking longer to start. Im away for 3 days now [...]
Back in the gym today and I made slight improvements, today I managed :
30 mins Cross Trainer
10 mins Exercise Bike
15 mins Running
10 mins Exercise Bike
10 mins Running
The 15 minute run was the longest I have managed since my injury, Im slowly getting there - I might just make the manchester run at this rate!

Had a cold all week so haven’t managed to get in the gym again, I finally got out today for a walk. I managed to get quite far without having to stop so thats a bonus. I’ll be able to tell if I’m still getting better when I go in the gym on monday.

Today I managed to walk around 3.5km in 45mins. Up till now my walks have been 10 mins or so and I’ve had to stop every few minutes and sit down till the pain goes.

Did another swim today - 30 lengths, I found out that the distance for a Triathlon in swimming is 1.5km which is 60 lengths so I managed half that today!
Its quite a nice way to start the day, Im starving now so breakfast time!
