Well its been 3 weeks since my last run - felt a lot lot longer than that but Im finally back!
I did a small outside run this morning of 3.2km in around 20 minutes which is nothing really compared to my 16km long runs I was doing before my injury. Still, it felt good to get back out there - I have lost a lot of fitness as I was out of breath at the end of this run - apparently it takes 2 weeks to get back each week of fitness lost so I should be back to normal in 6 weeks.
Aims for this week are to try and build up to running 6km, then get back up to 10km at the end of next week for my long run.
Anyway, despite my fitness level it feels good to be back!
