Long Run : 8km

Today was my first long run since I’ve been back running, I did an old run that I was using when I trained for the Manchester Run - 8km with an downhill/uphill part around the half way mark.

I ran it in 56 mins with a couple of 1-2 min walk breaks which isn’t exactly fast but it felt good to do a longer distance. A few more 6k + runs in the week and I think next saturday will be my first 10k run.
