I got back yesterday from my trip to Ireland where I ran the Great Ireland run, Im really pleased with my result of 59mins 52secs - I wanted to break the 1 hour barrier and I did (just!). That knocks 14mins off my pb off my first race - the Manchester run last year.

Nothing special about today’s run - kept up a fairly quick pace and covered 4.3k in 30 mins, Im getting closer to that 1/2 hour 5k though!
Gonna do a dull hour on the cross trainer tommorow to let the legs recover.
